Sarah Smith - "After having a baby and an operation, I noticed to my dismay that I had put on quite a bit of weight. When my daughter was four months old I began going regularly to In Balance and thoroughly enjoyed my workouts. I had never been to group classes before, but after encouragement from my Personal Trainer, I thought I would have a go. The variety of classes at In Balance is great, and there is something for everyone. I have found that I now enjoy the classes a lot more and tend to work harder. The classes are also a great way to meet new people and I have formed some great friendships as a result of going to In Balance. The staff are so friendly and encouraging when they see you working hard and getting results - that made me work even harder. My Personal Trainer, Michael, is very approachable and has helped me to shed those excess kilos by varying my program. The ladies in the kids club are so caring and helpful. My daughter loves coming to visit and play with them each day. It's great to know that your kids are being looked after in a safe and friendly environment, while you workout. I really look forward to the hour I spend each day at In Balance and would like to thank In Balance for providing a great place to exercise. I have fun when I exercise and thoroughly enjoy my workouts (I hate to miss a day!!). I have even lost all those excess kilos with interest!!!"

It is a pleasure to come into In Balance where the awesome staff are always friendly. I have dropped 2 sizes in my clothes and feel really different, really fit. I started out easy and found I could do a lot more than I thought now I cant miss my workouts and I tend to work my day around them. I enjoy lawn bowls and find that now thanks to my increased health and fitness I can play all day, get down lower and handle the heat better!" Norma Black - "I decided to join In Balance Health & Fitness Centre early 2004 after having a couple of falls and also noticing aches and pains in the legs. As I am over 60 I was nervous about being too old to exercise but this was soon forgotten as I found the staff to be so encouraging and the centre such a pleasant, happy place to be that now I wouldnt miss my exercising for all the tea in China. I now feel much more flexible, stronger and my balance has improved so much that I no longer have any falls. I can manage the cardiovascular workout on the treadmill, bike and cross-trainer as well as a weight training program like a youngster. I notice there are also a lot of other mature age people enjoying the gym. So age is no excuse for not exercising and enjoying life to the full". The lifestyle is great and the people are too. However, in my case that led to overindulging in the finer things in life. In turn, leading to my weight stacking on after I gave up smoking last year. As a result of my weight gain I decided to join your gym close to 2 months ago. Since my decision to lose my excess baggage, I have lost 6.5kg through my personalised training program designed by Stuart (my personal trainer who is included in my membership fees). I have nothing but praise for the staff at the facility who are always there to help you if you have a problem or question. Sandra Brimble - "I spent a long time searching the local area for the perfect gym, having three children at school and only one at home, it was a great time to do something for myself. But there was always something not right. At 43 years of age I decided that maybe I should age gracefully and accept my body just as it is. In February a friend encouraged me to do a Pole Dancing Course (which I thoroughly recommend), it didn't take long for me to realise this was the gym for me. The staff were so friendly and encouraging that I took the plunge. I am not overweight but gravity was winning and I'd decided my stomach was no longer for public viewing. Imagine my surprise when after 4 weeks of 2 pump classes and a body balance a week the result in my stomach area were so amazing that with my husbands encouragement I did something I swore I'd never do....... I got my belly button pierced!!!. (My children think I'm going through a mid-life crisis). All my friends and family have noticed a change in my posture and build but for me, the increase in energy levels and well being are what drive me to In Balance 3 times a week, a place I thoroughly enjoy being part of."
North Lakes. I have been a gym user for many years and have used gyms all over the world and in several Australian states. I have used the international chains as well as the smaller industrial gyms. I can honestly say that In Balance is the best facility I have had the pleasure of attending. The staff are terrific in their roles and are always willing to lend a hand or to provide words of encouragement when needed. The facility is always well presented with modern working equipment that is able to challenge the user and provide a great workout. The cleanliness of the facility is particularly noteworthy. The overall ambience of the facility is superb and sets a high benchmark for others to match. I look forward to continuing to use the In Balance fitness facility for many years to come".
